Jenifer Samuel is Student of the Year at the University of Chicago. She is studying "Economists" So of course I wondered what the Student of the Year would think of the biggest issue in Economics today, one on which PhD students will be writing their theses for years to come. It would be good to know what a scion of U Chicago Economics department thought of the issue. Alumni include Bernie Sanders, Democrat party hopeful; Lorenzo Bini Smaghi, an economist on the board of the European Central Bank; and Gregory Chow, Emeritus Professor of Economics at Princeton University. What is your view on Brexit? Well, she says "I think it is not good" Many people might agree with that, although others see it as an opportunity rather than a threat. What do you see as the long term benefit? For some unknown reason she blocked me.
